About Rockport
Rockport Commercial Vehicles was founded in 2002 in Elkhart, Indiana — with a second plant added in Ocilla, Georgia in 2015 — as a division of Forest River, a Berkshire Hathaway company. It's Ford's largest bailment pool for parcel-delivery chassis, and its leadership brings over 200 years of combined commercial-body manufacturing experience.
The lineup spans the whole delivery and service fleet: the Cargoport multi-stop cargo body, the Parcelport parcel-delivery body with a low rear drop floor, the Workport enclosed service body, the flagship Rockport walk-in, and chassis-mounted dry-freight truck bodies. Bodies are built in FRP or aluminum with translucent or aluminum roofing and a choice of hardwood, plywood, aluminum-plank, or treadplate floors.
